چکیده

The present study is concerned with the evaluation of tannase and gallic acid production efficacy Bacillus licheniformis KBR6 under different environmental conditions through submerged fermentation. Results have shown that mineral sources differential influences on production. Highest yield was observed at incubation period 18 h 22 h, respectively. At tannic concentration 15 g/l, maximum cell mass (0.75 g/l), coefficient (0.08 g/g), specific growth rate (37.5 mg/g/h), (16.3 U/g) (0.80 U/g/h) were observed, however, higher a decrease in but increased increasing concentration. Additional carbohydrate like glucose, fructose, lactose showed positive influence enzyme yield. Among studied nitrogen urea NH4Cl, phosphate KH2PO4 favourable effects simultaneous Temperature 35 °C found to be optimum for Of all metal ions Ca2+, Mg2+ Na+ effect whereas, Co2+, Ag2+, Pb2+, Hg2+ inhibitory effects.

Production of tannase through submerged fermentation of tannin-containing plant extracts by Bacillus licheniformis KBR6.

Tannins are water-soluble polyphenolic compounds found in plants as secondary metabolites. The presence of these substances in the barks of eight different plants was initially examined and their crude extracts were used separately as a substrate for production of tannase through submerged fermentation by Bacillus licheniformis KBR6. Tannase production as well as biodegradation of the substrate...

Effect of amino acids on tannase biosynthesis by Bacillus licheniformis KBR6.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Microbial tannase (tannin acyl hydrolase, EC 3.1.1.20), a hydrolysable tannin-degrading enzyme, has gained importance in various industrial processes, and is used extensively in the manufacture of instant tea, beer, wine, and gallic acid. Tannase is an inducible enzyme, and hydrolysable tannin, especially tannic acid, is the sole inducer. This study is of the effect of va...

Optimization of Various Culture Media for Tannase Production in Submerged Fermentation by Aspergillus flavus

Tannase, produced from the fungus Aspergillus flavus by submerged fermentation on different medium was studied. Tannic acid 1 had a higher activity of 70 U/g/min in purified form. The process parameter was optimized and higher production of tannase was found at 35°C and 96 hours of incubation with 2% tannic acid.

Statistical optimization of process parameters for the production of tannase by Aspergillus flavus under submerged fermentation

Production of tannase by Aspergillus flavus (MTCC 3783) using tamarind seed powder as substrate was studied in submerged fermentation. Plackett-Burman design was applied for the screening of 12 medium nutrients. From the results, the significant nutrients were identified as tannic acid, magnesium sulfate, ferrous sulfate and ammonium sulfate. Further the optimization of process parameters was c...

Statistical Optimization of Arachidonic Acid Production by Mortierella alpina CBS 754.68 in Submerged Fermentation

Arachidonic acid is an essential fatty acid in human nutrition. In the present study, production of arachidonicacid by Mortierella alpina CBS 754.68 was evaluated in submerged fermentation. The fermentation variableswere selected in accordance with the Plackett-Burman (PB) design and further optimized via response surface methodology (RSM). Five significant variables, namely glucose...
